Michael Jackson is dead at the age of 50. We're broken-hearted and sure you are too. Please share your memories of how the King of Pop touched your life. We'll be sure to write back and share ours.

His music will never be forgotten. His moves will be practiced and imitated for years to come. He truly brought a new meaning for what it meant to be an entertainer. While his memory will live on, I speak peace unto his family and friends during this heart-breaking time.

I wrote my tribute to Michael in this article:

MICHAEL JACKSON'S DEATH - THE CONSPIRACY THEORY

I believe Mr. Jackson was great entertainer, a musical genius, and a decent person. My condolences to his family and all who loved him. Michael rocked!

We are talking about a man who has been around for generations, literally. Our parents have grown up listening to him and so have we. Michael Jackson was more than just a performer, he was a cultural as well as a generational pillar. Almost as if he was one of those people who would be around forever...the day of his passing will always be one of those moments in time where you remember exactly where you were when it was announced that Michael Jackson was dead...it's been days and my mind is just finally accepting the fact that he has passed on. Even the so-called greatest of all time of this generation as well as the next can never even come close to what MJ has done. His spirit will live on in our hearts as well as the hearts of all those aspiring to reach greatness in the face of constant criticism and controversy.

He gave us 40 years of his short life. No matter which MJ you loved, there was something for everyone from the J5 days until now.

Michael's music and life, as it was portrayed in the media, made an impact on the world in one way or another. His music especially set the Gold Standard for upcoming artists and even influenced already seasoned performers. I've noticed that some Country singers have copied some of Michael's moves( not as exciting, however) and implement some of the video enhancements Michael used.

So many looked up to him and imitated him. He was so LARGE that the industry just couldn't contain him,all his music genius, and showmanship. He was misunderstood in many ways and yes...he was a bit odd...to us! Nonetheless, he captivated many people. We wanted to get a closer look at the person and into his life. We wanted to know just who Michael Jackson was and what "made him tick?" Some even wanted to be like Mike!

Looking deeply, we see he was just a man with a God-given talent for compassion, love for the lesser ones, and of course_the ability to knock people off their seats when he was on stage.

It's a real tragedy for something as this to happen. Michael's eternal future, however, does not rest with any man...and thankfully so! No one can say with any certainty what his outcome will be_ whether he will be blessed with a resurrection at the appointed time or if he was cast off by our heavenly Father forever without any hope. Jehovah always does what is right and just where each of his creation is concerned. Perhaps in the near future, Michael will live again when there's no more crying, no sorrowing, and no more dying. When God has made all things new !!! (Revelation 21:3,4)

I offer my sincere condolences to Michaels children, extended family and close TRUE friends.

Michael has gone to rest for a little while. (John 11: 11-14)

I was introduced to Michael Jackson in 1982 with his Beat It video and fell in love with him at that moment.27 years later and nothing has changed I would much rather listen to any of Michael's albums than these new artist of today. I am deeply heartbroken at his untimely death but know that he is in a better place now and can rest peacfully. My heart goes out to his children and family. He IS and always will be THE KING OF POP!!! Rest in Peace Michael!! I miss you and love you!!!

I was in my car when I found out. At first I thought when they said "Michael Jackson passed" that they actually meant he passed - passed where? by the radio studio? As soon as I got home my daughter checked the internet and I kept saying "No, No. Its a joke or a rumor." Sadly, it wasn't and we lost the most talented entertainer in history. He was a month and a day older than me, and from the first moment I saw him (yup I saw him on the first televised appearance of the Jackson 5),I knew he was something special...he sure was! I wish his family peace and the lessening of sorrow with each passing day.

When I think Micheal Jackson,
I just can make my mind accept this thing. when I was a little girl my sisters and I allowance was, every Sunday was to go to the Regal theater on 47th south Parkway (DR.ML King Dr.) in Chicago, to see the Jackson5 the 5 Stair Steps,Jackie Wilson, Temps, and Others. the Jackson 5 they sent me , I want to be one of them. I thought i was a better dancer then Micheal, but I would say to myself but boy this boy is good. but Marlon was better then either one of Us. I remember the lines would be wrap around the corner of Terry's store and a cross the street was good old Walgreens, sooo i would leave my sister in the line go to Walgreens play with the toys until the line got to the Door. Then i run back across the street to go in to see the Jackson 5. When they when to Hollywood I was happy but missed them so much. but then hit after hit, that was Great. I just can put into Words what I'm feeling. there songs was my happiness, when i was sad, when i was mad, when I entertain, when I fell in love, they were there and they help be thur it all. Anyone can die and as we alll know one day we all will. I'm sicken my his father. I don't know what all he did to them but I know he hurt them all...Michael once said on Oprah show when his father walk in the room he wanted to throw-up, all these people around that baby and,No had enough common sence to protect him, to take care of that Baby.....it hurt deep in my soul. He (Michael) gave everything he had inside and we gave nothing in return. Not as Black people, not as white people, all around the World we call ourselves his Fans, but we never spoke up on his be-hafe...I believe Michael Jackson is in Heaven with JESUS and I just Know he is in GOOD HANDS Now..!
