by raechalMatthew Weiner, the genius behind Mad Men, says we might just see a Black employee at Sterling Cooper one of these days. So far, the only people of color on the 1960s-era show are the Drapers' housekeeper and the guys who run the elevators at the advertising agency.
Here, Weiner confirms this is all part of his plan, that he's trying to reflect the segregated, sexist society Americans lived in.
He also says something that "no one wants to hear," that the world of advertising is still lacking color.
